Themed Cafes for the Anime and Game Fanatic
Touken Ranbu 2.5D Cafe x Touken Saryou & Ensemble Stars! x Animate Cafe

Themed cafes are often limited-time venues decorated in the image of the collaborating anime/game. Fans can enjoy original menus based on characters or other features in the anime/game. Here are two cafes operating this month.
Touken Ranbu 2.5D Cafe x Touken Saryou
The Akihabara Touken Saryou, literally translated as "a tea shop with blades and swords", has many actual well-preserved katanas and sword accessories on display for visitors to enjoy. It’s currently collaborating with the popular online game, "Touken Ranbu"’s stage play series, Touken Ranbu 2.5D. The first floor holds the dining space as well as displays of props and costumes that are used in the stage plays. The second floor is a souvenir shop.
Note: Reservations and advance tickets for January are sold out. You can still visit the souvenir shop on the second floor.
Ensemble Stars! x Animate Cafe
Animate is a major retailer of anime and manga merchandise in Japan. Selected branches have Animate Cafes, which regularly hold collaborations with popular series. The Ikebukuro branch is currently collaborating with Ensemble Stars!, a popular mobile dating-sim game where the player is the first female student in a special school for producing male idols. This cafe is reservation only and will have exclusive merchandise featuring new character illustrations.
