Tokyo Kaikan, an elegant and handsome building in Marunouchi opposite the Imperial Palace, contains a collection of event spaces that can be used for fine dining, weddings and conferences. Construction of the Tokyo Kaikan was completed in 1922. It became a familiar venue to the city's elite and entertained foreign visitors as illustrious as Queen Elizabeth II. The building was closed for refurbishment in early 2015, and the result of its four-year makeover will finally be unveiled on January 8, 2019.
Reopening with "new classics" as its concept, Tokyo Kaikan represents the pinnacle of hospitality, with state-of-the-art acoustics, delicious food and gorgeous decorations. There's enough room to host a banquet for up to 1,800 attendees. Besides its various multipurpose rooms, it's also home to several permanent restaurants and a sweets shop on the first floor.
Tokyo Kaikan's new building contains eight luxury restaurants offering the best in Japanese and global cuisine. Enjoy Japanese-French fusion cooking at Tokyo Kaikan Kai, as well as the Kaikan's signature meals, curry and roast beef, at Rossini Terrace. There's a venue for every mood, including a lounge and a fully -stocked bar. Gaze out at the Imperial Palace while enjoying the best food and drink you'll have all year.
