Immersive Fort Tokyo is one of the largest all-weather, fully indoor theme parks in Japan. It covers around 30,000 square meters, and offers a fully immersive, interactive experience, with 12 attractions and six stores and restaurants.
Centered around "immersive theater," a global trend in live entertainment, this facility lets visitors play a role in the world, and be a part of the stories as they unfold.

Enjoy an immersive experience in Tokyo

From the moment you step into the facility, you're enveloped in a glamorous and lively European-inspired world, full of dark and mysterious themed areas housing attractions. Visitors are drawn into the characters of the story and the immersive experience.

Immersive Fort Tokyo uses the building for Venus Fort, a commercial facility in Odaiba that closed in March, 2022. Being the first entirely immersive theme park in the world, it is well worth considering a visit. In areas inspired by movies, anime, video games, and more, costumed performers act out the story around the visitors, offering an immersive, theatrical experience. There are also escape room-type challenges and other interactive events.
The park is open to visitors of all ages, and can be enjoyed by adults and children alike. However, some of the themed areas are not open to children, as they feature themes such as danger and murder. Check the official website for further information about which attractions are suitable for children.

The Sherlock

An immersive theatrical experience, "The Sherlock" is a Sherlock Holmes murder mystery set in Victorian London. The attraction is large, and visitors walk freely through the area, encountering cast members who act out the story. Depending on where you are standing at any given time, you will witness different events.
The story follows Holmes as he works on two cases: a woman's missing fiancé and a series of gruesome murders. The investigation of the two intertwining mysteries takes place in the days leading up to Guy Fawkes Night.
Each performance of the experience lasts around 90 minutes, and can hold up to 180 participants. Children five years old and younger are not allowed in the area, and children aged six to 12 must be accompanied.

Enthusiasm! The Fortevita Incident

Unlike the themed areas, which each house a single attraction inside, "Enthusiasm! The Fortevita Incident" takes place throughout the park. In the streets and spaces between themed areas, costumed actors perform scenes and tell interconnected stories. The entire park makes up Fortevita, a fictional European town. Visitors can take part directly in the Hollywood-style action and become immersed in the world of the town.
Characters include townspeople, soldiers, and mobsters. Learn about the characters and get caught up in the story however you wish, for example training as an officer, working as a messenger, or even getting sent to jail. The twists and turns in the story may reveal a secret about the town. How actively you take part is entirely up to you.
