Roots of Tokyo

You can be inside the cool historical buildings that actually existed in Tokyo from Edo period to the end of the war. It feels nostalgic and up-to-date at the same time. Let’s travel to the roots of Tokyo and forget the time.

Looking into a narrow alley. What a charm!

There are more than just houses inside this park. This is an umbrella shop. “Welcome to our shop! May I help you?” Let’s pretend to be a shop owner.

There is a great sento, Japanese public bath, at the end of this street. Today I’m in traditional carpenter work wear. I wish I could take a bath here.
