On this tour, you will take a walk from Kasumigaseki to Hibiya and Marunouchi areas. These areas have played central roles in the politics and economy of Japan since the Meiji Period (the end of the 19th century). Urban development began in the early 1900's, and many important buildings of modern Japanese architecture still remain in the areas. The National Diet Building is one of them. While you appreciate the modern Japanese architecture, you can also visit the inside of the National Diet Building (except when the Diet is in session).
*The National Diet Building is closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
