The Dream Yosacoy Festival features about 6,000 dancers from across Japan, making it one of the largest festivals in Tokyo. Performances of yosakoi, a style of dance using naruko clappers with roots in traditional Japanese culture, will take place at venues in Odaiba and Marunouchi. To mark the festival’s 25th anniversary, the commemorative "Dream Yosacoy Award" dance competition will be held. At the Odaiba Statue of Liberty venue, a special nighttime program will feature a collaboration between "Odaiba Dream Projection Mapping" and yosakoi performances. There will also be a special collaboration featuring "Tokyo Aqua Symphony," a spectacular fountain show; "Tsunaguruma," which combines dashi festival floats, symbols of Japanese festival culture, with cutting-edge technology; and "Odaiba Dream Projection Mapping." Other events include a traditional yosakoi naruko dance workshop that anyone can join for free, as well as dance experiences. Come and enjoy a spectacular festival that lights up the Tokyo night, together with the energy and excitement of the dancers’ performances.
