Observe the production process for Edo sudare (reed blinds) made by craftsman using traditional techniques in the same studio that the business was first established during the Meiji period (1868-1912). Chat with the craftsmen while watching them employ their precise traditional skills. Take a look around the showroom where a variety of Edo sudare are displayed, and listen to a lecture on the details. In the workshop, you can try making your own placemats or coasters, etc., to take home as souvenirs.
