Dye silk on Camellia Island
At the Yume Kobo workshop on Oshima Island, you will use coloring from the carefully-picked camellia petals to dye silk scarves, stoles and handkerchiefs. Camellias are the backbone of Oshima's economy, which has been dubbed "Camellia Island" for the ubiquitous flower.
