“MIDTOWN CHRISTMAS” is a Roppongi winter tradition. This year, a larger area is being illuminated, with about 560,000 lightbulbs used throughout MIDTOWN Garden. The main illumination, “Ensemble lights,” is new this year and expresses a fantastic snowy world. Upon stepping into the garden, you will be enveloped in about 240,000 shimmering illuminations. For a limited period until December 13 (Friday), visitors can experience romantic bubbles and falling snow. Also, the garden is decorated with the perennial favorite “Trail of Lights” illuminations and a gold and red-themed Christmas tree. This year also sees the return of the Christmas market for the first time in five years. You can also enjoy the popular ice skating rink, which operates during the winter season.
