The Jiyugaoka Goddess Festival features two days packed with performances, food and shopping in the area around Jiyugaoka Station. The festival takes place on a Sunday and Monday in early October. Watch an exciting lineup of musicians and fun characters on the main stage outside the station, then enjoy the taste of autumn—along with a little wine, perhaps—at the food stalls nearby. As many as 500,000 people visit this busy event, which started in 1973.
