Tokyo Illumilia 2020 TOKYO ILLUMILIA 2020

Area around Nihonbashi, Yaesu, Chuo City, Tokyo
2019-11-6 - 2020-1-15

In order to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), various facilities around Tokyo may change their operating days or hours. In addition, some events may be canceled or postponed. Please check official facility or event websites for the latest updates and information.

Tokyo Illumilia fuses traditional Japanese culture and cutting-edge lighting technology to bring a touch of the Edo period to streetlights. LED lights twine around branches on the cherry trees at every crossing on Sakura-dori Avenue. The result is a gate of lights at each crossroads. Around 170,000 champagne-gold LEDs connect these gates of light in an elegant display that brings a festive flair to the area.
