1-1 Kasumigaokamachi, Shinjuku City, Tokyo

In order to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), various facilities around Tokyo may change their operating days or hours. In addition, some events may be canceled or postponed. Please check official facility or event websites for the latest updates and information.

At the 2022 Jingu Gaien Fireworks Festival, 12,000 fireworks will be launched into the evening sky. This much-loved festival, within the Yamanote Line, is the only urban fireworks display with a musical concert in Tokyo. Attendees can enjoy performances from established and up-and-coming artists, along with the fireworks. Around a million people are expected to attend, including those watching from outside the venues. This Tokyo summer tradition is happening for the first time in three years, so fans of the festival are sure to attend.
