The Nogi Hall Summer Festival at Nogi Shrine is a community event not only centered around food and entertainment, but it is also an educational experience.
This is a great event for families, where parents can spend time with children playing games, eating festival food, and learning about Nogi Shrine and Nogi Hall.
On the grounds of the shrine you can find yo-yo fishing (fishing for balloons), kakigori (shaved ice) stalls, cotton candy, and all manner of festival food staples. Don’t miss the picture-story show and mixed chorus group performances. There is also an antiques market, so you might just be able to find a great deal on some Japanese antiques.
