The Nogi-jinja Shrine Summer Festival is a community event for the whole family.
On the grounds of the shrine you will find stalls selling festival food staples like buttered potatoes, yakisoba, and kakigori (shaved ice). There will also be an antique fair and handheld fireworks, like sparklers. A seafood grill will be available courtesy of Hakodate Nogi-jinja Shrine and Otobe Hachiman-jinja Shrine. For adults, there will be beer and Japanese sake available. Visitors of all ages will find something to enjoy at this festival.
