Mount Takao Autumn Leaves Festival 高尾山もみじまつり

2205 Takaomachi, Hachioji-shi, Tokyo
2020-11-2 - 2020-11-30

In order to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), various facilities around Tokyo may change their operating days or hours. In addition, some events may be canceled or postponed. Please check official facility or event websites for the latest updates and information.

The Mount Takao Autumn Leaves Festival, held from November 2 through 30, is the mountain's busiest season. On weekends and holidays, concerts, taiko drumming, and yosakoi dance performances will be held at the square next to Kiyotaki Station, near the cable car that takes you up the mountain. Halfway up Mount Takao, there will be an exhibition of Tokyo-made kokeshi dolls. If you want to take one home, you can buy them. You can also enjoy sake served in traditional square wooden boxes.
