The Tokyo Grand Tea Ceremony, one of the most popular autumn events in the city, will be held in 2026. The event is taking place at two venues for this 17th iteration.
Accessible for first-timers as well as regular tea ceremony enthusiasts, the festival features ceremony displays, workshops, performances, and other activities offering visitors and tourists opportunities to experience traditional culture. Experience the culture of Japanese tea, as well as the dynamic Edo-Tokyo culture that was shaped by it. The two venues are great places to take some time out in the bustling capital amongst lush greenery: the Edo-Tokyo Open Air Architectural Museum in Koganei, and the Hama-rikyu Gardens in Chuo City.
