La Folle Journée is a classical music festival that originated in 1995 in Nantes, a port town in the west of France. The event aims to present first-class performances of classical music in a relaxed, casual atmosphere at reasonable prices. The 45-minute-long programs are designed to allow visitors to enjoy a variety of different performances. Since the Tokyo festival was first held in 2005, 9.233 million people have attended, and it has become a classic event of the Golden Week holidays. The theme for the 2026 edition is "Les Fleuves (The Great Rivers)." Come and enjoy one of the biggest and most enjoyable classical music festivals in the world.
