La Folle Journée is a classical music festival that originated in 1995 in Nantes, a port town in the west of France. The event aims to present first-class performances of classical music in a relaxed, casual atmosphere at reasonable prices. The 45-minute-long programs are designed to allow visitors to enjoy a variety of different performances. Since the Tokyo festival was first held in 2005, 8.2 million people have attended, and it has become a classic event of the Golden Week holidays. The theme for the 2019 edition is "Voyage: the Music of Travel." Come and enjoy one of the biggest and most enjoyable classical music festivals in the world.
