Semba Exposed Cliffs 千波地層切断面

Nomashi, Oshima-machi, Tokyo

This striped formation is the result of volcanic ash and black pumice from eruptions past. Located on the southwestern side of Oshima Island, you can drive past it when you are on your way to the seashell museum Palais la Mer further south.
