Mt. Honita is located northeast of Lake Okutama Station on the Ome Line. For those looking to hike, there is a trail up the mountain close to Hatonosu Station. This trail between the two stations makes for a great hiking day trip. The climb takes a good four or five hours, so block out time accordingly. Visit in spring or fall for the best weather.
