This museum details the history and culture of Shinagawa Ward. Learn about the ancient dump site Omori Shell Mound and the Shinagawa post station built in Edo period (1603-1867) at the permanent exhibition. The museum garden features a Japanese-style tea room and a traditional water-dripping musical instrument that creates soothing sounds.
