Myoshoji Pond 妙正寺池

3-21-21 Shimizu, Suginami City, Tokyo

In order to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), various facilities around Tokyo may change their operating days or hours. In addition, some events may be canceled or postponed. Please check official facility or event websites for the latest updates and information.

Within Myoshoji Park and named after nearby Myoshoji Temple, this pond is the source of the Myoshoji River, running east in the direction of Shinjuku. If you are in the area, consider stopping by the pond and strolling the park—heading east along the river for a little extra exercise. If you have children, there is some playground equipment in the park to keep them amused.
