Omori Nori Museum 大森 海苔のふるさと館

Explore the history of Ota City's seaweed production at the Omori Nori Museum. Here, you can see ships and tools used for gathering seaweed from the mid-Edo period (1700s) to the year 1963. Take the kids and learn how to make seaweed—pre-reservations are required for the hands-on experience. Afterwards, visit the nearby Omori Furusato-no-Hamabe Park and take a walk along manmade beach.
