Hotel New Otani Tokyo is a luxury hotel near the Imperial Palace in central Tokyo. It has nearly 1,500 guest rooms, many of which have floor-to-ceiling windows for excellent views. It's a city within a city with 37 restaurants and bars, and facilities that include a spa, a shopping arcade, a health clinic, a dentist, a doctor's office and a post office. The buffet restaurant on the 17th floor of The Main building offers 360-degree views of Tokyo. The roughly 400-year-old Japanese garden sits in 33,000 m2 of space, and has been the quintessential symbol of the hotel since the Edo period. Take time to view the koi-stocked pond, and the waterfall in the middle of the garden. New Hotel Otani was featured in the James Bond film, "You Only Live Twice."
