In order to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), various facilities around Tokyo may change their operating days or hours. In addition, some events may be canceled or postponed. Please check official facility or event websites for the latest updates and information.
Adjacent to the Tama River, Futako Tamagawa Rise Shopping Center and neighboring Futako-Tamagawa Station, a visit to Futago-Tamagawa Park is an ideal place to take a breather after a shopping trip.
The riverside park features a meticulously landscaped Japanese garden, Kishi-en. Inviting visitors to “return to nature,” English-language pamphlets are available. On clear days, head to the lookout point and absorb the magnificence of the Tanzawa mountains and Mt. Fuji in the distance. Otherwise, there’s plenty to keep you occupied. The paths at Futago-Tamagawa Park wind through a grove planted with 1,400 young trees, a playground suitable for toddlers and a sprawling, grassy area, ideal for ball play and picnics.
For updated information on opening hours, closings, prices, and more, please check the official website or ask the facility directly.
