A museum and its enormous plum orchard

Kyodo no Mori Fuchu City Museum is a museum in the heart of Fuchu that is dedicated to the history and culture of the area. Visit the museum and wander around the main building with permanent exhibitions, a planetarium, and the eight other buildings.

The gardens of the museum are particularly beautiful and offer you a different view in each season. Kyodo no Mori Fuchu City Museum includes the area's biggest plum orchard, with 1,100 plum trees that represent 60 different types. It has a plum festival that's very popular during the spring.
