A museum and its enormous plum orchard
Kyodo no Mori Fuchu City Museum is a museum in the heart of Fuchu that is dedicated to the history and culture of the area. Visit the main building to enjoy the permanent exhibitions, and a planetarium. You can also see eight other examples of historic architecture.
The park of the museum are particularly beautiful and offer you a different view in each season. Kyodo no Mori Fuchu City Museum includes the area's biggest plum orchard, with 1,100 plum trees that represent 60 different types. It holds a popular plum festival in February or March.
