Time travel to the Ancient Oriental world
Learn about ancient West Asian and Egyptian civilizations at Tokyo's Ancient Orient Museum. This museum opened in 1978 and is the first museum about the ancient Orient in Japan. This facility houses and exhibits a lot of information from the Old Stone Age of West Asia and Egypt to the Sassanian Empire, as well as artifacts excavated in Syria. Special exhibitions are held at the museum several times a year.
