In order to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), various facilities around Tokyo may change their operating days or hours. In addition, some events may be canceled or postponed. Please check official facility or event websites for the latest updates and information.
Inokashira Park is loved among locals for providing a luscious green space, with plenty of recreational facilities, a shrine, and a bucolic pond. Inokashira Pond is located in the center of the park, where you can hire rowing boats. In the spring, the edge is surrounded by cherry blossom, and the fleeting season of white-pink petals is a great time to come and picnic under the flowers.
The park's more rural history is reflected in its rich wealth of greenery, and it's also home to a zoo (main park) and aquarium (secondary park). The Studio Ghibli museum is located in the park too. Reservations are required for entrance.
For updated information on opening hours, closings, prices, and more, please check the official website or ask the facility directly.
