Shinjuku's largest urban oasis

Shinjuku Chuo Park is the largest city-managed park in Shinjuku. This urban oasis is flanked by skyscrapers, including the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building. The park features extensive greenery, including a relaxing Lawn Area, Park View Forest from which Shinjuku’s complex of high-rises can be viewed, and the Citizen’s Forest replete with seasonal flowers and perfect for a bit of forest bathing.
The Kids Playground area offers a wealth of outdoor facilities, including a large slide, and universal play equipment, which can accommodate many children at a time. There is also an area reserved just for toddlers and infants, as well as a rest corner, etc., so parents can keep a watchful eye while their youngsters play without undue concern.
