A peaceful mossy rock garden for escaping the summer heat

On the southern side of Mt. Mitake. you will find a mossy, rock area called the Mitake Rock Garden. This rock garden is a picturesque area dominated by clear springs, big moss-covered rocks, and waterfalls.

You can take a walk for about 1.2 kilometers along the marsh, which is part of the Chichigu-Tamakai National Park. The sound of the clear stream running through the area is revitalizing, and if you go in summer, this garden provides some relief from the heat.
