The Three Waterfalls of Unazawa 海沢三滝

Unazawa, Okutama-machi, Nishitama-gun, Tokyo

Stand below three stylish waterfalls

Water falls in style at Unazawa. Pass by the Mitsukama Waterfall—located a 10-minute walk from Unazawa Park—and follow the swamp on your left to its bigger brother, Nejireno-taki Waterfall. Nejireno-taki has a 10.8-meter drop and travels down in the shape of the Japanese character for Ku. The climb to the third waterfall, Otaki, is a bit steeper than before. It is a bigger waterfall and will reward you with the spectacular scene and mighty sound of water plunging down a height of 23 meters.

How to Get There

  • Okutama Sta.| 2 hours 15 mins on foot
