Sodake Gorge 惣岳渓谷

A nostalgic, gorgeous valley near Tokyo

Sodake Gorge is deep, and is surrounded by lots of vegetation all year-round. Rent a bike to ride around the nearby villages or enjoy river rafting in the gorge.

Okutama Mukashi-michi is a very popular trail among visitors. Walk around the old town and see what life in this area was like decades ago. You will also come across the 67.15 meter-long Shidakura suspension bridge. From the top of the suspension bridge, you will see the beautiful Sodake Valley.
