Hanegi Park is a popular recreational hub, and the racetrack and tennis courts are often full of runners and tennis players. Dogs and their walkers crowd the grassy areas, so the park is a great spot for some serious dogwatching.
If you're with children, head to the play area with its selection of wooden climbing frames and original play frames. If you are visiting between January and March, you can catch the plum trees in bloom—over 650 of them. Located near to the vintage clothes mecca of Shimokitazawa, Hanegi Park is the perfect place to catch your breath.
