Tokyo Port Wild Bird Park 東京港野鳥公園

3-1 Tokai, Ota-ku, Tokyo

Witness wild birds in action just a short train ride from Haneda Airport

Also known as Tokyoko Yacho Koen, Tokyo Port Wild Bird Park is a lush nature preserve located on the waters of Tokyo Bay—a 25 minute monorail ride from Haneda Airport. The area has become home to an eclectic group of wild birds, who build their nests here in summer, and migrate to the area in winter. To make the most of your visit, explore the observation huts scattered around the park, before heading over to the four-story Nature Center, which offers panoramic views of the area.

Get a closer inspection of the park by using the on-site telescopes and browse the center’s well-stocked bird book library. If you want to learn more about bird watching, visit on a Sunday morning to join in on the park’s nature walks designed for novice birdwatchers.
