Also known as Tokyo-ko Yacho Koen, Tokyo Port Wild Bird Park is a lush nature preserve located next to Tokyo Bay. From Haneda Airport, it is a 16-minute ride on the monorail to Ryutsu Center Station and a 15-minute walk from the station to the park. The area has become home to an many species of wild birds that build their nests here in summer and migrate to the area in winter. To make the most of your visit, head over to the three-story Nature Center, which offers views of the whole area. Then, explore the park's observation huts.
Watch the birds using the on-site telescopes and browse the center's well-stocked bird book library.
Note: The use of park telescopes and the browsing of park books is currently not permitted due to measures in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Binoculars that are disinfected after each use are available to be borrowed.
