Located just a short walk from Shinagawa Aquarium and Tokyo Port Wild Bird Park, Oifutochuo Kaihin Park is a sprawling public park taking in the areas of Ota and Shinagawa. The park houses many sports fields, including an athletic stadium, running track, tennis courts, and a ground for playing gateball, a fast-paced Japanese version of croquet. The sports facilities are accessible for a fee, but bookings are required.
Sometimes also referred to as Oifuto Seaside Park, the park offers impressive waterside views framed by soft pink cherry blossoms in spring. There are also a number of barbeque facilities on site, perfect for afternoon picnicking.
