Located on the second and third floors of KITTE, JP Tower Museum Intermediatheque is a public facility jointly operated by Japan Post Co. and the University Museum of the University of Tokyo. Intermediatheque doesn’t present a set route for visitors to follow—you are instead invited to wander freely, dictated by your interests.
Most of the specimens and samples on display represent various disciplines such as anatomy, archeology, biology, engineering, geography, geology, mathematics, modern art, and paleontology, to name but a few. JP Tower Museum Intermediatheque also presents special exhibitions and various events, the latter held in a vast room built to resemble one of the university's lecture halls. Plan to spend at least an hour taking in your surroundings, but don't be surprised if you end up losing yourself all morning or afternoon.
For updated information on opening hours, closings, prices, and more, please check the official website or ask the facility directly.
