Located in the fashionable district of Shibuya, Bunkamura serves as one of the new cultural hubs in the city. First opened in 1989, the entertainment complex boasts, a theater, a museum, a concert hall, a mini theater as well as numerous shops and restaurants.
Bunkamura attracts nearly 3 million visitors each year in its effort to create culture. You can enjoy live performances focused on classical music, opera and ballet at Orchard Hall, see various theatrical, contemporary performances at Theatre Cocoon, take in an exhibition featuring a flow of modern arts at the Museum, and at Le Cinéma be entertained by original, selected art films mainly from Europe and Asia.
