Japan's largest convention and art center located in Marunouchi
Tokyo International Forum, located in the central Marunouchi district of Tokyo, is a cultural and information base composed of various facilities such as eight halls of varying sizes, more than 30 conference rooms, a Glass Building, a ground level plaza, shops, restaurants, and a museum. 4,000 events are held there each year, such as international conferences, concerts, and musicals.
The complex, designed by American architect Rafael Viñoly, is a highly regarded architecturally, including the Glass Building, from its basement level to the 60-meter tall boat-shaped atrium, and is one of the representative landmarks of Tokyo. Between the 4 halls and glass atrium lies a green Plaza area, perfect as a rest area for visitors.
