Once a U.S. military base, this park in Tokyo’s western suburbs offers fun for all
Located just beside the Fuchunomori Theater, the grounds of Fuchunomori Park include the Fuchu Art Museum. This site offers countless fun things to do in and outside the park itself.
Make sure to explore the park's gardens and forested areas too. The woodland area in the southern part of the park recreates the forest from back when this district was considered the old Musashino plain. Stroll through the Japanese garden nearby to see spring cherry blossoms at their finest or elegant maple trees during fall. The park is spectacular in summer too. Join the crowds of local families and cool off under a fountain or in the wading pool.
