One of Nakano's best-kept tourist secrets
Founded in 1586, the temple is said to have the power to cure eye ailments and help with raising children.
If you're in the area during spring, it's worth making the time to visit the temple grounds, as the site is home to an impressive collection of blossoming cherry trees. The temple also holds Goma ceremonies on the 8th, 18th, and 28th of every month, as auspicious dates. An antiques fair is held on the first Sunday of each month, with antiques on display throughout the temple grounds.
