Shinjuku Park Tower is officially the second tallest building in Shinjuku. It's just a few meters shorter than its neighbor, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, but it’s no less striking. Inside the tower are a number of retail stores, restaurants, offices, and the luxury Park Hyatt Tokyo hotel.
Comprising of cascading towers, the skyscraper was designed to fit in naturally with the landscape. It was built on an angle to ensure it doesn't overwhelm the nearby park, popular with office workers during their break time. If Shinjuku Park Tower looks familiar to you, that’s because it was also one of the central locations for the famous film Lost in Translation.
