Peaceful pond-side strolls at Sayamaike Park

Sayamaike Park is a tranquil park in Mizuho in western Tokyo. Its central feature is its three ponds. There are trails that wind around the ponds and plenty of flora to enjoy in all four seasons. At the park, you can enjoy fishing, birdwatching, and even evening strolls, when the ponds are lit up.

Sayamaike Park was used to cover shortages in the Tamagawa River in the 17th century and today is the source of the Zanbori River.
