In order to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), various facilities around Tokyo may change their operating days or hours. In addition, some events may be canceled or postponed. Please check official facility or event websites for the latest updates and information.
Whether you plan to visit the bustling Sensoji Temple at Asakusa, or take a leisurely stroll through the Asakusa area, traveling on the Toyosu -Odaiba direct line is a great way to experience Tokyo from a different perspective. It is hard not to spot the distinctive Himiko water bus that transports passengers up and down the Sumida River— its futuristic design with large glass windows attributed to the master of the manga and anime world, Leiji Matsumoto.
If you happen to be a fan of Matsumoto's work, you may recognize the voices of your favorite characters from ""Galaxy Express 999" on the on-board broadcast.
