The greatest colony of Asian fawnlilies in Tokyo

Sayama Katakuri-no-Sato is home to some 200,000 Erythronium japonicum flowers, which are known as katakuri in Japanese and Asian fawnlilies in English. It's the largest colony of the flowers in Tokyo. In spring, the flowers cover roughly 3,000 square meters of hillside. And over the course of the year, you can enjoy a wide variety of other flowers as well.
