The Shigeru Mizuki Zone introduces visitors to the characters of Mizuki's work, including GeGeGe no Kitaro.
The Shigeru Mizuki Zone opened in March 2025 as a walkway from Chofu Station to Kitaro Park. A Nurikabe signboard featuring Nurikabe welcomes visitors at the entrance. The section along the side of Trie Keio Chofu C (a movie theater) is called "Tetsu-michi," as it passes through the location of the former railway. Panels illustrated by Shigeru Mizuki are hung on the fence between the driveway and walkway.

The section of the walkway that passes by the bicycle parking past "Tetsu-michi" features lighting that evokes Neko-musume and other characters from GeGeGe no Kitaro. The silhouette of each character is illuminated at night. The promenade ahead of the walkway features bronze statues of characters from Shigeru Mizuki's work.

Kitaro Square is located the avenue (Tsurukawa Kaido Road) ahead of the promenade. Kitaro Square invites visitors to enjoy Mizuki's manga world by climbing on Nurikabe, sliding down the Kitaro house slide, and resting on Ittan Momen bench.
