Displays of bold graphic design in Ginza
With rows and rows of design pieces boldly on display, the Ginza Graphic Gallery was made for lovers of graphic design. Or indeed anyone with an appreciation for art, color, text or layout. If you aren't sure if you fall into any of those categories, admission to the gallery is free, making it well worth a peek.
The exhibitions on display change regularly, meaning that no two visits will be alike. Information about current and upcoming exhibitions is available in English on their website.
On the second floor of the gallery building is a library. Visitors can freely browse its collection of annual publications and illustrated catalogs. The collection includes the gggBooks series, which introduces graphic designers from in and outside of Japan.
