Making animation more fun and bringing it into the future
Japanese animations are loved by people all around the world. As a starting point for the further development of Japanese animation and the related industries, culture, and tourism, a new animation base, Anime Tokyo Station, opened in Ikebukuro, Tokyo, on October 31.
It serves as a starting point for anime lovers of all ages, from children to adults, tourists visiting Tokyo from around the world, and anime specialists. Everyone can enjoy animation masterpieces along with new and popular animations here.

The exhibition space on the second floor is scheduled to hold exhibitions about four times a year featuring a wide range of animations.
In basement 1, layouts, original illustrations, scenarios, plans and proposals, storyboards, and cels that are not usually open to the general public are exhibited.
