Manga by Sazae-san writer and illustrator Machiko Hasegawa, and art objects she collected are exhibited.
Hasegawa Machiko Memorial Hall houses the Hasegawa Machiko Art Museum (opened in 1985), which exhibits art objects collected by the cartoonist Machiko Hasegawa and her sister Mariko. Hasegawa Machiko Memorial Hall (opened in 2020) stands on the other side of the road from the Art Museum. The memorial hall introduces Machiko's works and life including, such works as Sazae-san and Granny Mischief.
