KochiKame stone monument

The main character of "Kochira Katsushika-ku Kameari Koen Mae Hashutsujo (This is a police box in front of Kameari Park in Katsushika City)" (KochiKame), a comic series published in weekly Shonen Jump magazine, is Kankichi Ryotsu, who was born in Asakusa. He was raised as the parishioner of three shrines. In commemoration of 130 million copies issued, a KochiKame stone monument was built on August 6, 2005.
It was built with the hope that everyone would have consideration for others and that children would grow up healthy to fulfill their dreams.
