Bronze Kobo-chan statue 「コボちゃん」ブロンズ像

Four-frame comic strip character "Kobo-chan" was made into a bronze statue at Kagurazaka.

Kobo-chan is a four-frame comic strip drawn by cartoonist Masashi Ueda. The tapered hair style in the back is Kobo-chan's trademark. First published in 1982, the comic strip has been loved for over 40 years. In 1990s, it was made into an animation. Kobo-chan is a popular comic character.
Masashi Ueda has lived in Kagurazaka for more than 35 years, and the first Kobo-chan comic strip was drawn in Kagurazaka.
