Chihayafuru Custom-Designed Manhole Covers in Fuchu ちはやふるデザインマンホールin府中

5 Miyanishicho, and elsewhere (Shimogawara Green Pathway, Zelkova Tree Street, Katamachi Culture Center, etc.), Fuchu City, Tokyo

Manhole covers featuring characters from manga and other works associated with Fuchu are meant to help attract visitors to the city, encourage walks, and promote tourism. A total of eight manhole covers have been created in seven designs featuring characters from the manga Chihayafuru and are placed throughout the city in relevant spots.
