This manhole cover is based on Toru Seino, creator of and character in the manga Tokyo-to Kita-ku Akabane. Seino’s manga showcases the beauty and appeal of Akabane, based on his own experiences and exploration. This is an exclusive design created by Seino specially for this manhole cover! The Japanese script for “Akabane” is sprinkled across a deep crimson backdrop in this design that expresses a deep love for the Akabane area.
